Humans invariably have a limited vision of their abilities and of what is possible. This is part of what Jesus warned against in his teaching about being 'of the world'. "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God." Some of these things are peace, grace, forgiveness, the beauty of nature, spiritual gifts and talents, a free will, and unlimited opportunities and possibilities.
